The main aim of community Pazaps is to minimize illegal dumping, waste reduction and improve segregation of waste at source. They will act as focal persons for community waste management activities. It is a completely voluntary choice to be a waste Pazap. Activities and contributions made by Pazaps in their respective schools, institutes, communities, and offices within Thimphu will be assessed for competition. The champions from each category will be awarded a prize and certificate by the NECS on an auspicious day/celebration every year. The list of Pazaps volunteering for Zero Waste Bhutan are as below.
